When i arrived at the Shamba Garden, I was welcomed by William, the Shamba keeper, who will take you on a private tour of the garden.
During my tour with William, he shared fascinating insights about the farm and guided me in selecting the freshest produce. Together, we picked my chosen ingredients, which were then carefully washed in filtered water.
During my visit, as a solo traveler, Angama was kind enough to arrange for Doris, who works there and is known for giving the warmest hugs, to accompany me for lunch which was set up under the towering Moth trees in the Shamba Farm. The butlers had prepared a wicker basket filled with loaves of bread, delicious homemade local cheese, and chilled rosé wine.
The atmosphere in the Shamba Garden provides one of the most unique and beautiful dining experiences you will ever have. You will be surrounded by the lush greenery of the garden, with sweeping views of the Mara below. Butterflies and birds will be flitting through the air, adding to the magic of the moment.
