Your journey begins in Nairobi, where you will be warmly greeted by a King Salama Safaris representative before heading north to one of Kenya’s most wildlife-rich safari destinations. After settling into your charming cottage tucked deep in the bush, enjoy a relaxed lunch and a moment to unwind.
In the afternoon, step onto your mat for a grounding yoga session surrounded by the sounds and scents of nature.
Embark on your first evening game drive, an exciting introduction to Africa’s iconic Big Five. Raise a glass at sundowner hour as the sky blazes with color and the silence of the wild settles in around you.
Return to camp for dinner and drinks around the fire, under a canopy of stars. Far from the city, the rhythm of the bush takes over.
Greet the day with an energizing yoga practice as the bush awakens around you. Then head out on a morning game drive, keeping watch for elephants, rhinos, lions, and more. At a scenic spot, pause for a picnic breakfast surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.
Along the way, you will visit Kenya’s only chimpanzee sanctuary, a remarkable refuge for rescued primates saved from the illegal wildlife trade. Here, chimpanzees once held as exotic pets or trafficked through black markets now live freely in a protected forest habitat. It’s a rare and moving chance to witness our closest living relatives and learn about the vital conservation work happening behind the scenes.
Return to camp for lunch, followed by a peaceful afternoon yoga flow. As the sun begins to set, venture out once more for a golden-hour game drive that transitions into a night safari. when the bush reveals its most elusive creatures. After a relaxed morning and a heartfelt farewell from your hosts, you’ll be transferred back to Nairobi.
For international flights departing after 6:00 PM, we’ll take you directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
