Mkulumadzi Lodge is one of Malawi’s leading safari lodges, set on the banks of the Shire River in Majete Wildlife Reserve. Surrounded by riverine woodland and wilderness, the lodge offers a remote safari experience in one of Malawi’s greatest conservation success stories.
As one of only two lodges inside Majete, Mkulumadzi provides exclusive access to a reserve known for strong wildlife viewing, including the Big Five, rare antelope species, and excellent birdlife. The lower Shire River runs past the lodge, with rapids creating a dramatic natural backdrop.
