Nyikani Camp Central Serengeti is located in the heart of Serengeti National Park at the foot of Banagi Hill. Its elevated position provides sweeping views across the surrounding plains while offering easy access to some of the Serengeti’s most productive wildlife areas.
The camp’s central location makes it an excellent base year-round, with resident wildlife, predator sightings, and access to key game-viewing areas within the park. The region is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and a wide variety of plains game.
The camp features 15 guest tents, comprising 14 standard tents and 1 family unit, all spaced apart to provide privacy and views of the surrounding wilderness.
Each tent includes:
The tents are spacious and comfortable, combining a classic safari atmosphere with modern comforts. Raised platforms provide elevated views across the plains, while large screened windows allow natural light and cooling breezes to flow through the tent.
The family unit offers additional space, with separate bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for families traveling together.
The main area consists of a separate dining tent and lounge tent, both designed to take advantage of the surrounding views.
The lounge tent provides a comfortable place to relax between game drives, with locally crafted furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere. The dining tent serves freshly prepared meals.
A campfire area sits in front of the main tents and is a popular gathering place in the evenings. After a day on safari, guests can relax around the fire, share stories from the day’s wildlife sightings, and enjoy the sounds of the Serengeti after dark.
