Day 1. Nairobi.

Jambo! Welcome to Kenya! You’ll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will be met at arrivals by a King Salama Safaris representative. We’ll transfer you by private vehicle to your overnight accommodations in Nairobi.

Day 2. Ol Pejeta Conservancy]

After breakfast, we will leave for Ol Pejeta Conservancy (about a 2.5-hour drive).
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 90,000-acre private fenced conservancy located between the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya. The Conservancy offers excellent wildlife viewings with a high density of wildlife, including predators, all of the Big Five are present. Its highlights include the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, a population of southern white rhinos, the opportunity to get up close to the last two northern white rhinos left in the world, and a Chimpanzee Sanctuary, housing orphaned and abandoned chimpanzees.

We’ll arrive in time to enjoy lunch and relax, before setting out on an afternoon game drive, just when the predators are getting more active.
You’ll return to your accommodations for a delicious dinner followed by a relaxing evening.
Fun Fact – The term ‘Big 5’ was coined in the 1800s and refers to the African elephant, Cape buffalo, African lion, leopard, and rhinoceros. These five animals were identified as the most dangerous animals to hunt on foot in Africa.

Day 3. Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Wildlife  is most active during the morning hours. You’ll wake up early for another exciting game drive. Following the drive, you’ll return to the camp for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning relaxing at the pool, or your private deck that has views of the waterhole.  

Option to visit Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The Sanctuary was established with an agreement between the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the Kenya Wildlife Service, and the Jane Goodall Institute and aims to provide care for orphaned and abused chimpanzees from West and Central Africa.

In the afternoon we will visit the rhino sanctuary and get up-close with the last two remaining northern white rhinos on the planet.  you will learn all about the conservation efforts that make Ol Pejeta a role model for conservation, followed by an afternoon game drive, we will be on the outlook for predators that are getting ready to hunt.

Day 4. Samburu  National Reserve

Up early for breakfast and we will leave for the Samburu National Reserve. (About a 3-hour drive)
Samburu National Reserve is located in Northern Kenya and is a premier game reserve situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river. It is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for its rare species known as the Samburu Special Five. (Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and the Grevy’s zebra).
Samburu National Reserve boasts over 900 elephants and is home to big cats – lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. It is one of the few places where wild dogs reside.
You will arrive in time for lunch and relax before we embark on an epic game drive, in search of wildlife unique to the Samburu ecosystem.

Day 5.  Samburu National Reserve

Early rise and we will embark on an early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve. The morning is the ideal time for game viewing, as the wildlife is more active, we will search for the elusive leopards, lions, and the wildlife unique to northern Kenya.
Later in the afternoon, we will visit a village that is home to the Samburu tribe. Unlike other commercialized areas of Kenya, the village will allow you to experience the authentic and vibrant culture of the Samburu people. We will continue with a game drive.

Day 6.  Maasai Mara Reserve.

 Arise for early morning breakfast and checkout, with a short game drive in Samburu. You will be transfered  transferred to an airstrip for your flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve

Lunch and settle in, and in the afternoon you will enbark on a game drive in the Maasai Mara National ReserveThe Reserve is a world-famous safari destination with optimal viewing, endless savannas, and diverse wildlife. The Reserve is home to the ‘Big 5’, all of the top African predators, and the Great Wildebeest Migration. This place is especially wonderful for bird enthusiasts who will have the opportunity to see many of the 450 species of birds that live in the Reserve.

Day 7.  Maasai Mara Reserve.

After breakfast we will embark on a game drive in the Maasai Mara. We will drive to the river  to seek the wildebeest crossing as well as explore other areas of the park.

Fun Fact – The Great Wildebeest Migration is the largest mammal migration in the world. The Migration is a massive herd made up of 2 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle and passes through the Maasai Mara Reserve from July to October each year. (

Day 8.  Naboisho Conservancy, Maasai Mara.

After breakfast and you will be transferred to Eagle View in Naboisho Conservancy. (About 45 minutes)

Eagle View is an eco-camp with only nine tents. Each tent offers an ensuite bathroom with two showers, one inside and one open-air safari shower, a private elevated viewing deck with endless views of the conservancy.

 Naboisho Conservancy, is a private conservancy, the wildlife is abundant and diverse, both predators and prey, such as large residential prides of lions, who use Naboisho as their home territory. One thing that is missing is the crowds, as only a very limited amount of guests are allowed in. Guests often find themselves the only vehicle around, giving spectacular, unspoiled views of exciting wildlife.

Naboisho,  means “coming together” in the Maasai’s Maa language. Five hundred Maasai landowners came together and leased their land out for wildlife. The conservancy fees provide the local community with a sustainable livelihood whilst ensuring the conservation of the wildlife.

In the afternoon we will embark on a shared game drive with help from your expert Maasai guide, looking for elusive leopards, elephants, and our resident lions

Day 9 and 10.  Naboisho Conservancy, Maasai Mara

Early morning game drive, the wildlife is abundant and diverse, both predators and prey, you’ll also have the chance to see the Maasai giraffe and learn about the differences between the giraffe species that you saw in Samburu. After lunch and a relaxing break back at camp, you’ll head to a different part of the Conservancy in search of elephants and the elusive leopard. 

In Naboisho you can also enjoy a night drive where nocturnal wildlife can be spotted.

Option to do a walking safari.

Day 11. Leave for Nairobi

 breakfast, we bid farewell and travel back to Nairobi. to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (5-hour drive) or an optional day room at a hotel until the time of your return flight home.
